Use the preview function to see a highlight in the right context
You can display a preview of a search result in various ways: Either by clicking directly on ‘Preview’ at the bottom of the search result or by clicking on the three grey dots next to the title of the search result and then clicking on ‘Preview’ in the small pop-up window that opens at the top.
With the preview function, you can jump directly to the right place in the selected document and the highlight is highlighted in yellow.
And as you can see in the following video, you can also use the amberAI Document Chat to ask questions about the contents of the document or search for further information in the document.
You also have other preview options in the pop-up window, such as a preview directory. In the preview directory window, you can recognise the folder path at first glance and see in which folder the document is stored.

Furthermore you can open the amberAI Document Chat directly from the pop-up window.
The small difference:
- If you open the document via the preview, it jumps directly to the place where the highlights you are looking for can be seen.
- If you open the document via amberAI, the document is simply displayed from the first page.
Depending on the file format, the display of the preview varies slightly.
Here are two examples:
Preview of a website (HTML)
Preview of an e-mail
If there is a longer e-mail correspondence, you will also see the replies if you scroll down further in the preview window.
