Use operators in the image search for more precise and appropriate
results🤓
You can also use operators to carry out image searches just as specifically and efficiently as document searches. For example, if you are looking for very specific images, the operators can help you reach your goal faster.
Please note: If you use an operator in the image search, this ONLY affects the paths and file names of the images, i.e. only the metadata of an image and NOT the image itself.
Take a look at the following pictures for visualization:
Example:
You use the quotation mark operator to get the exact word you are looking for in the results. You will then see that you are shown images with this exact word in the metadata. It may happen that this word also appears in the image itself, but it does not necessarily have to appear in the image itself, as the operator only targets the metadata.

The following operators can be used for the image search:
- Quotation mark-Operator: "amberAI" Chatbot
- Star-Operator: Search*
The following operators cannot be used for the image search:
- Minus-Operator: amberAI -Chatbot
- File type operator: amberAI type:pptx
- Author operator: author:name
You can read more detailed information on how best to use the operators here.
