You can add amberSearch as a plug-in or extension for your browser.
This allows you to open amberSearch in parallel with any website.
1. Installation in Google Chrome:
This link will take you directly to the Chrome Webstore where you can add the amberSearch plug-in.

2. Installation in Microsoft Edge:
Firstly, make sure that the appropriate setting is set up in the Microsoft Edge browser so that you can also access the amberSearch Chrome plug-in via this browser.
You can see how this works in the following instructions with picture gallery:
1. Click on the three dots in the top right-hand corner of your Edge browser and select Extensions

2. Then click on Manage extensions
in the small pop-up window:
3. Make sure that the Allow extensions from other stores.
-option on the left-hand side of the screen is switched on. Now you can also add plug-ins from the Chrome Web Store to your Microsoft Edge browser:
4. Then click on Chrome Web Store
further to the right of the screen. The Chrome Web Store will then open in your Microsoft Edge browser:
5. Enter "amberSearch" in the search bar at the top:
6. Select the amberSearch plug-in search result:
7. Click Get
to install the amberSearch Chrome Plug-in:
8. Then click Add extension
in the small pop-up window:
The amberSearch Chrome plug-in is now added to your browser and can be used.
3. Accessibility in Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge:
Once the plug-in has been added, you can pin it to the top of your bar so that the amberSearch icon remains visible and is easier to reach. Take a look at the following images.
For Google Chrome:

From now on, the amberSearch side panel can be opened in both browsers either by clicking on the icon at the top or by pressing Alt + S
. You must then log in once with your account.
Now you can quickly and easily search internal company data using amberSearch's AI-powered search algorithms.

4. Functions (valid for both browsers):
a) Once the Chrome extension has been added, you can enter the letters "as" + "space bar" in the search bar at the top of the browser. Then, instead of the icon of the usual search engine, the icon of amberSearch will appear at the beginning of the line. If you now search for something, amberSearch will automatically search for it.

In the Microsoft Edge browser, you will get the following message after adding the plug-in:
So, the function is similar to the Google Chrome browser.
b) In addition, you can mark one or more words on any website and right-click on the marked position. This will open a small window that says "Search via amberSearch".
Click on this line to open amberSearch and results for the selected word will be displayed.
